This policy explains how REAL TIME TRADERS PTY LTD (ABN 54 642 170 438), based in Brisbane, Queensland ("we", "us"), handles personal information collected through realtimetradersbrisbane.au. We aim to handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
- Account details. When you create an account we collect your email address, your name and, if you choose to give it, your phone number. Your password (if you use one) is handled by our account provider, Supabase, and stored only in hashed form.
- Google sign-in. If you sign in with Google, Google shares your name, email address and profile picture with us (the "openid", "email" and "profile" permissions). We use this only to create your account and sign you in.
- Saved cards. If you save a payment card, the card details are entered into and handled by Stripe, our payment provider. We never see or store your full card number or security code. We store only the card brand, the last 4 digits, the expiry date and your Stripe customer ID.
- Content you post. Marketplace listings, job posts, hire bookings and anything else you submit, including the details you include in them.
- Messages you send us, for example by email.
- Visit counts. We count visits anonymously: we record the page path and the time of the visit, once per browser session. This does not use cookies and does not identify you.
Browser storage
The site uses your browser's local storage to remember whether the site's preview screen has been unlocked and to keep you signed in, and session storage so a visit is only counted once per session. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use it
We use personal information to run your account, sign you in, show and manage your listings, jobs and hire bookings, save cards for future payments (saving a card does not charge it), respond to you, keep the site secure, and meet our legal obligations. Information you put in a public listing or job post can be seen by other visitors. We do not sell personal information.
Who we share it with
We use service providers to run the site: Supabase (accounts and database), GitHub (website hosting), Stripe (payments and saved cards) and Google (if you choose Google sign-in). These providers may store or process information outside Australia. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information for as long as it is needed for your account or as required by law.
Access, correction and deletion
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, or delete your account, by emailing realtimetraders101@gmail.com. We may need to confirm your identity first.
Complaints
If you have a privacy concern, please email us at realtimetraders101@gmail.com first and we will respond. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
