Job fees
How fees work on Jobs & Tenders
Browsing is free, and posting a job only needs a free account. Fees only apply once a quote is accepted and a worker is assigned. Marketplace buying and selling and equipment hire have no extra fees beyond membership.
Job posters: connection fee
A one-off connection fee is charged when you accept a quote and assign the job. It's set by the accepted quote price and doesn't change if the price changes later.
Paid members pay $0. With a free account you pay the connection fee below on each job you assign. Basic ($4.99/month) and higher memberships have it waived.

Example: you accept a $180 quote. With a free account you pay $180 + $29.95 connection fee = $209.95. As a Basic member you pay $180.
Workers & tradies: service fee
When you win a job, a service fee is worked out from your fee level and the job price. It's deducted from your payment when the job is completed and paid out. If you don't win the job, you don't pay anything.

Example: a $200 job at Level 1 has a 20% fee ($40), so you receive $160.
*Completion rate is the share of your last 20 assigned jobs that you completed. You need to meet both the earnings and the completion requirement to reach a level. Fees are in AUD. Pricing and features may change.
